The Waratah Train debacle - a cost Downer

The Waratah Train Project consists of three elements:

1. Designing, building and commissioning the Auburn Maintenance Centre
2. Designing, building and commissioning 78 eight-car train sets (626 cars) for use on the Sydney rail network
3. Maintaining all 78 train sets as part of a 30-year Through-Life-Support contract
